If an ABIC does not reduce IOP enough, can an ab-externo canaloplasty be performed afterwards?

I believe that the ABIC does not close down any future doors, but I'm interested in this order specifically. And if an ABIC is followed by a traditional canaloplasty, is there anything to be concerned/cautious about?
