Floaters and general opacity issues following a cataract and PCO procedures

I had undergone a cataract surgery in 2018 with a successful outcome, no issues. I had noticed initial floaters (in one eye only) roughly 4 months after the surgery. The doctor told me it’s nothing to worry about, and is quite normal, and shouldn’t deteriorate. Then the overall opacity of my vision started to worsen, and I had to undergo a PCO procedure 1 year after the main surgery. The visual acuity had been restored, and I was happy with my vision overall. But the initial floaters didn’t disappear, and possibly increased in size. It felt like dirty spot in my field of view. 1 year after the same symptoms manifested in the other eye – an opacified area/dirty spot. Moving forward this condition got progressively worse at time resulting in intermittent uniform opacity of the field of view (I must blink to get a reasonably clear picture). A visit to a different cataract specialist (2 years ago) wasn’t helpful either – the fundoscopy didn’t find anything abnormal, and general eye health is good.

This condition very slowly but steadily getting worse. I have perfect vision if I “catch” a clear field of view, and otherwise opacified. Drinking carrot juice improves overall clarity (not the floaters obviously).

Is it something that is known and other patients experienced? What can I do about it?

Please advise. Many thanks in advance.
