@sherry
I saw nerve growth factor eye drops at https://www.prospecbio.com/beta-nerve_growth_factor
The above product is expensive but it would be worth the cost if it helps regenerate the optic nerve in glaucoma.
OXERVATE was approved by FDA but it doesn't target Glaucoma nerve damage.
Please tell me if nerve growth factor eye drops could be effective at regenerating the optic nerve in glaucoma?
It seems nobody knows the answer.
I checked the customer page in the nerve growth factor eye drop company: Johns Hopkins Univ. and all the other top universities from all over the world.
I believe that the product is high quality and it was used in experiments. The question is how effective in nerve regenerating in those experiments?
I"m not sure where you saw that, but name-dropping universities is a common method of scammers. Do you have a link showing an affiliation between this company and Johns Hopkins Univ?
Thanks David for clarifying it. I googled the company and there is not much info about it. I also googled the company and JHU but nothing came up.
The conclusion is not to try it. I think the technology should help optic nerve but need to find a reliable source first.
Thanks again.
