What's a manta shield? Google is being unhelpful.

Replies from the FitEyes email discussion group:
A manta sleep mask. I use one and it's a good alternative to traditional masks. Doesn't touch or press on your eyes.
The Mantra takes a week or two to get used to, but it is very light weight and completely blocks light. I've worn a sleep mask for 30 years or more. If you don't use a mask often or at all, it may take longer to adjust.
Here are the mantra masks:

They are sold on Amazon too.

Very interesting! I did see this link warning against eye masks for glaucoma. https://mantasleep.com/pages/the-hidden-danger-of-sleep-masks But the manta puts no pressure on the eyes at all? Thank you.
The manta shield is recommended by glaucoma specialist Dr. Robert Ritch. I have not used it personally, but he would not recommend any sleep mask that puts pressure on the eyes.
My message above is a quote from another FitEyes member who has used the manta shield and found that "it does not touch or press on your eyes."
I have found other sleep masks that also work well and do not touch or cause any pressure on the eyes and that do not increase my IOP, so I can say that this particular brand is not the only viable choice.
I tried one and did not find it to be very comfortable, and further I felt like it did still put some pressure on my eyes. It is somewhat adjustable, but I was not able to position the eye cups so that it felt like no pressure. If you get it from Amazon you should be able to return it if it doesn't work for you.
