We live in the USA. My husband and I travel to Europe (often France) and stay there for long periods of time. If I bring my tonometer and/or my IOP readings to a physician there, would it be accepted or frowned upon?

Europe is more accepting than the USA. Awareness and acceptance should be greater, but it will vary from doctor to doctor. Europe has generally seen approval of home-use tonometers well ahead of the USA.

NOTE: I am based in the USA. I do interact with FitEyes members in Europe who own and use tonometers, but look for other answers here from people who live in Europe.
