Here are two answers from the FitEyes email discussion group:

Magnesium contributes to good blood circulation, I consider it essential for people with glaucoma. I am taking magnesium bisglycinate 200 mg

and

Magnesium is sometimes referred to as "nature's calcium channel blocker (CCB)". It is much gentler than pharmaceutical CCBs, however, and doesn't have the side effects they do. I remember reading that CCBs have been used with some success in glaucoma. Magnesium is recommended for Flammer syndrome too. I wonder if magnesium threonate (Magtein) would be better than other forms since it crosses the blood brain barrier easily. I am currently using mag citrate, 150mg, twice a day.
